Day 1 – Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide from African Clay Safaris and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, relax after your journey and prepare for the safari adventure ahead. Arusha is the gateway to Tanzania’s Northern Safari Circuit and the perfect place to begin your journey. Dinner and overnight in Arusha.

Day 2 – Arusha to Tarangire National Park – Overnight in Mto wa Mbu / Makuyuni

After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park for your first exciting game drive. Tarangire is famous for its massive elephant herds, giant baobab trees, and rich wildlife surrounding the Tarangire River. The park offers excellent opportunities to spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and many bird species. After your afternoon game drive, continue to the Makuyuni area for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 – Lake Manyara National Park – Overnight in Karatu

After breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive. Set beneath the dramatic Great Rift Valley escarpment, Lake Manyara is one of Tanzania’s most scenic parks. It is famous for its groundwater forest, open plains, lake views, tree-climbing lions, baboons, elephants, hippos, and abundant birdlife including flamingos. After your safari, continue to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 – Ngorongoro Highlands to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart Karatu and travel through the spectacular Ngorongoro Highlands toward Serengeti National Park. This scenic journey offers sweeping views of the crater highlands, Maasai landscapes, and open plains before reaching the Serengeti. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive in Serengeti where your wildlife adventure continues across endless plains filled with incredible animals. Dinner and overnight in Serengeti.

Day 5 – Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Spend a full day exploring the breathtaking Serengeti. Morning and afternoon game drives provide excellent opportunities to search for lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and many other species. Depending on the season, you may also witness part of the Great Migration. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush surrounded by unforgettable landscapes. Dinner and overnight in Serengeti.
